Scoring & Performance Standards
Each dancer is evaluated in ten categories, each worth 10 points, for a total possible score of 100. Judges assess specific elements within every category to ensure fair and accurate scoring. Categories include: technical skill, choreography, performance quality, musicality, strength, flexibility, stage presence, artistry, execution, costuming, and overall impact.
Scores reflect a dancer’s elite-level proficiency, with winners chosen for their ability to captivate and impress.

Costume Guidelines
Costumes play a key role in professionalism, stage presentation, and overall impact. Please follow these standards to ensure your performance looks polished and reflects the prestige of Advanced Dance Contest:

Fit & Durability

Must fit securely (not too loose or tight) and cover all sensitive areas.

Use secure closures, reinforced seams, and high-quality dance fabrics.

Rehearse in costume to prevent malfunctions during performance.

Color & Design

Costumes should be stage-friendly: vibrant and expressive designs are encouraged, but avoid patterns or colors that are visually overwhelming or distracting from the performance.

Accessories & Embellishments
