Welcome to the audition portal for Advanced Dance Contest. This is where nominated dancers submit their audition videos for review. Each submission will be personally evaluated by the contest founder to ensure dancers meet the level of artistry and technical excellence required to compete in this elite event.
Video
Submission
Your video should showcase your skill, control, and performance quality in contemporary, jazz, or lyrical styles. Select choreography that highlights your strengths and reflects your individual artistry as a dancer.
A $25 audition fee is required, which will be applied toward your entry fee, only upon acceptance. This small commitment ensures that each dancer is serious about competing at the elite level of Advanced Dance Contest.
Once submitted, you’ll receive a confirmation email. Dancers selected to compete will be contacted directly with next steps and regional event information.

Video Guidelines

Videos must be no longer than two minutes.

Ensure clear lighting and a full-body view for the entire performance.

Use minimal editing — audition videos should be a single, continuous take.

Perform in a clear, uncluttered space free of distractions, with music audible and balanced.

Audition Performance Standards
By submitting this audition video, you confirm that all participants have given permission, and you consent to Advanced Dance Contest using this video, or portions of it, for social media, promotional, and website purposes.

Audition Attire
The following attire is recommended for dancers submitting their audition video:

Leotard or Fitted Top – Solid color, fitted, allows freedom of movement, and clearly shows body lines.

Dance Shorts or Leggings – Form-fitting to show technique and movement. If wearing a leotard, an extra layer of bottoms are not required. Tights are optional.

Shoes – Any footwear is permitted since this is a combined category. Recommended options: jazz shoes, half-soles, foot paws, clean socks, or bare feet.

Neutral, Solid Colors – Keeps focus on technique and performance.

Minimal Accessories – Avoid jewelry or anything that could distract or interfere with movement.

Professional Look – Attire should be clean, in good condition, and professional.

Secure Hair – Neatly pulled back in a bun or secure ponytail so the face and lines are visible.
