ADVANCED DANCE CONTEST

Step into the world of Advanced Dance Contest, where we celebrate the nation’s most elite dancers. Advanced Dance Contest hosts a solo, duet, trio, and group competition for advanced level dancers only, single division - ages 7 to 18, in a combined style category of contemporary, jazz, and lyrical, seeking to discover and crown the -absolute- best dancers across the country.

Competing at Advanced Dance Contest is a three-step journey — nomination, audition, and invitation. Any member of the dance community may nominate a studio or dancer. All nominations are asked to audition. From there, only the most elite will earn an invitation to compete among the nation's best.

Exclusively Advanced

Advanced Dance Contest maintains a selective approach by limiting the number of participants. By keeping the competition size manageable, our judges can provide detailed feedback and conduct thorough, fair evaluations of each performance. This commitment to quality over quantity allows us to uphold the highest standards of excellence, creating an environment where talented dancers truly have the opportunity to shine. Our selective nature ensures that the competition remains an elite and prestigious event, reserved for those who stand out.

At Advanced Dance Contest, we focus exclusively on advanced level dancers to find and celebrate the absolute best. By consolidating contemporary, jazz, and lyrical into a single style category, we ensure that the competition remains intensely rigorous and competitive, pushing dancers to demonstrate exceptional skill, versatility, and creativity. Additionally, we limit the competition to one age division,  7 to 18, as we believe this is the period when the most talented and dedicated dancers emerge. This approach not only elevates the prestige of the contest but also ensures that our winners are truly the most exceptional performers in the nation. By setting such high standards, we create an elite platform where the exceptional dancers can shine and be recognized for their outstanding achievements.

Contest Locations & Regions

Our regional structure is designed to bring Advanced Dance Contest to dancers across the country, with five competitions held in key locations. Each competition provides dancers the opportunity to perform among the best in their area, showcasing advanced-level technique, artistry, and creativity.

Our photographer will document every highlight of the day — from stunning stage performances to spontaneous candids and elegant lobby portraits that capture each dancer’s artistry and athleticism. Between routines, enjoy curated merchandise and healthy snacks from local dance and food vendors.
